Oregon Limited (Special) Power of Attorney Form

The Oregon limited (special) power of attorney form is a document which allows a Principal to nominate an individual, known as the “Agent”, to receive authority so that their affairs may be managed in their absence. This particular power of attorney form may contain specific instructions for the Agent which should be executed with the Principal’s best interests in mind and within the scope of authority established in the form. Once the Agent’s duties have been performed or the time frame specified within the document has been passed (if any), the Agent’s authorization will consequently be revoked. As stated below, the signatures of this form must be witnessed by a Notary Public.

How to Write

Step 1 – The Parties –

  • Provide the name(s) of the Principal’s
  • Enter the address of the property
  • Enter the legal description and the Tax Lot Number
  • Submit the authorized Agent
  • Read the remainder of this section

Step 2 – Signatures – Must be witnessed by a Notary Public

  • Date the Signatures in dd/mm/yyyy format
  • Provide the Principal’s Signature
  • Submit the Agent’s Signature

Step 3 – Notarization –

  • Once the notary has witnessed the signatures and recorded identification information, the notary shall complete the remainder of the document, therefore acknowledging and validating the document
