Florida Power of Attorney , as described in 709.2101,F.S. (Florida Uniform Power of Attorney Act), provides allowance for a person, also known as the Principal, to appoint someone else, known as the Attorney In Fact or Agent, to act on their behalf and in their best interest for specific needs. These needs are generally for purposes of  management of medical or monetary interests on behalf of the Principal. Other needs may be for vehicle transactions, temporary guardianship, or other types of springing or limited events.
