Special (Limited) Power of Attorney Forms | PDF Templates

Limited power of attorney, or sometimes referred to as a “special”, is a document that allows a person to give a designation to another to conduct an act to their benefit. This is commonly used with items such as accepting mail on someone else’s behalf although the document may be used for any type of designation and can be structured so that it is used for a temporary or indefinite amount of time. To have the form prepared it should be completely filled-in with the Agent (or referred to as the Attorney-in-Fact) present and it should be signed in the presence of a notary public (if applicable by State law).

Real Estate Power of Attorney – This form is primarily used for property transactions. The limited form may be used as well but the real estate form is most appropriate.
